Bebo have teamed up with renouned Lifestyle guru Kate Walker who runs the amazingly successful Lifestyle-p.a group. Kate gives us technical advise on our menus and ingredients.

 
As a qualified nutritional and lifestyle coach Kate Walker has joined up with Bebo to help people understand what they should be eating and why. There is so much controversial information out there today, how do we know where to start, let alone where to go to get hold of quality food on the move.

Having worked in the fitness and well being industry for seven years, Kate believes it is important for people to understand why and what they should be eating to optimise health and well being. Bebo have the same values and what to offer customers the best possible choices for all tastes.

Getting back to basics, we are made up of trillions of cells and make 3 million new cells every second. The reason we eat is not just because it tastes great, although that help, but we need vitamins, minerals and nutrients to make the next new cells. It makes sense then that the food we eat need to be full of life and nutrition.

Process, pre-packaged fast foods have little to no nutrition left in them. These foods are cooked to high temperatures to kill any bacteria, and to get them ready for the long shelf life. These high temperatures also kill of most of the good enzymes and nutrition. When we eat processed foods, they only provide the body with empty calories and lye down more fat on those stubborn to loose areas!

Because everything we eat has calories in it, we need to eat foods that are going to provide the body with nutrients and calories. I hear you asking “what should I be eating?” Well quite simply it takes life to give life. You want to be eating anything that is or has been alive and is minimally processed by humans. This includes all your vegetables, salad, fruit, beans, pulses, whole grains, fish, meat and plenty of water. This really allows you anything you fancy, providing it’s cooked from fresh.
